10th Scottish Empty Homes Conference: 1 – 3 February 2021
We are excited to announce that the 10th Scottish Empty Homes Conference will be taking place on a new online digital platform, to allow for a dynamic conference, including interactive workshops and plenty of opportunities for networking.
With the theme Providing Homes, Helping Recovery, this year’s conference will reflect on the work of the past decade and look at current challenges in Scotland. Best practices and insights touching on all aspects of empty homes work will be shared. With over 1400 homes brought back into use over the past year - the highest number in the history of the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership – there will be plenty of stories worth sharing and successes to celebrate.
The conference will be held over four consecutive mornings and flexible ticket options will be offered.
We are delighted to announce that the Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning Kevin Stewart MSP will be presenting and answering questions from participants, and we look forward to announcing more speakers soon.
In addition, the 10th Scottish Empty Homes Awards ceremony will take place during the conference and we look forward to showcasing the exemplary work from organisations and individuals over the past year. Submit your nominations now.
Early bird ticket sales will open on Thursday 3 December, but in the meantime we invite you to register your interest below for conference updates.
Various sponsorship opportunities are available. Please email Paul Stewart for more information and a copy of sponsorship packages.
