Ticket sales launched for 10th Scottish Empty Homes Conference
Early bird tickets have gone on sale today for the 10th Scottish Empty Homes Conference, which will be held on an online digital platform from 1 – 3 February 2021.
Single day tickets with early bird pricing are £15, while 3-day conference passes are available for £40. The discounted tickets will be available on the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership website throughout December, with full price tickets taking effect from 1 January 2021.
The 10th anniversary conference has been moved online for the first time due to Covid-19, but the organisers are hoping that the digital platform will attract new audiences and enable those who may not have been able to travel previous conferences to attend.
Scottish Empty Homes Partnership National Project Manager Shaheena Din said:
“We are putting together a fantastic programme, with a focus on celebrating the success of the last 10 years and addressing current challenges”.
“The digital platform will enable us to have a dynamic conference full of networking and learning opportunities for all those involved in the recovery of empty homes.”
Best practices and insights touching on all aspects of empty homes work will be shared, from how local authorities can use innovative tactics to bring back empty homes to the role of empty homes in addressing Scotland’s housing crisis.
Scotland’s Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning Kevin Stewart MSP is confirmed to be giving a ministerial address.
The 10th Scottish Empty Homes Awards ceremony will take place during the conference to showcase and celebrate the work of organisations and individuals over the past year.
Ticket sales are open at the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership website (www.emptyhomespartnership.scot/conference/).
Sponsorship opportunities are currently available.
